The Annual Inanda Bass Classic fishing tournament attracts hundreds of anglers each year.

Inanda Dam and Resort is the perfect venue for canoeing and is a compulsory overnight stop for the famous Dusi Canoe Marathon.

Inanda's Recreational Activities

Inanda Dam
Boating: All forms of water sports are permitted. There is a demarcated area for jet skis.

Angling: The dam has many species of fish. These include Bass, Tilapia, Carp, Barbel and Scalies.


Inanda Dam
Self guided Trail: A short self-guided trail wanders through a part of Mahlabathini Park, allowing visitors a chance to view some of the wildlife including many birds species and a variety of plant life. Maps are available at the gate.
