Hooked on Bass

Inanda Dam and Resort hosted a second Y-Bass Trail event on 5 April 2014 a and once again a strong turnout of more than 40 teams battled it out. Three of the seven qualifying Y-Bass Trail events are held at Inanda Dam.

Neck and neck at the top of the log for this second event were Team Evinrude Rapala and Team Z Man UV.

Both teams had returned to Inanda with renewed determination after the opening round staged there in January. Then Team Evinrude Rapala was pipped into second place by newcomers to the circuit Team Bass Warehouse, while Team Z Man UV placed fourth.

Catches with five-fish limits for the dayas top teams remained around 10kg.

aThis underlines Inanda Damas reputation as one of the top fishing dams cared for by Msinsi Resorts and Game Reserves,a says manager Gerry Bruton. aWe look forward to welcoming keen competitors back to the Inanda Bass Classic this month as well as another Y-Bass Trail event in 5 July.a
